E.P. Second consecutive year in our Opening Party, are you happy?
Yes of course, very happy to come back again to Es Paradis for the Opening Party and repeat the success of the last year. It´s a pleasure and an honor for me.
E.P. What would you highlight from our Opening 2010?
The fact, that all the people of the island were at Es Paradis that night and had a wonderful time. Opening is always a very important date and especially when the public is from the island as it deserves the best.
E.P. What have you done this Winter?
Well I have not stopped a lot in the island. I´ve been 3 times in brasil on tour, in Canada and around Europe. When I had time I´ve been working in the studio
E.P. New projects for this year?
Now I´m working on my party “the Face of Ibiza”, which will take place every Thursday, and I´m very happy about how the season is going to be. It looks very well.
E.P What do you expect from the next season?
This season is going to be incredible, as this year there won’t be Soccer World Cup or Olympic Games, and these events are always noticeable on the island. However everyone is euphoric and very positive and it’s noticeable also.
E.P Do you still consider the night of Ibiza as unique in the world?
Absolutely, I have been working for twenty years in this night field and I have been lucky to travel all around the world, and I can assure you that there´s no place like Ibiza. Neither Miami nor Mikonos nor any other place gets close to Ibiza. We should be very proud to live here and feel privileged to have what we have.
E.P Which track most impressed you last summer?
Last summer there was a lot of music and I think this summer is going to be the same. Patty Sue - Super Flu Suncream was one of the outstanding for me.
E.P What part of your job gives you the greatest satisfaction??
Travelling, discovering other cultures.. and feeling that the music unites people regardless from their origin.
E.P Do you see any difference between the national and the international Dj´s?
Well, the international top dj´s have an incredible marketing and the national dj´s, we don´t have this, however we know very well what kind of music to put in each moment. We always play music which people enjoy dancing and not like other DJs that play only for money and then go home.
E.P What do you think is the most important to become a famous dj?
Humility and perseverance in work. Also it’s very important to be a good Public Relations for your work as a dj.
E.P Which country, out of all that you’ve been to, is the one that most surprised you professionally?
I think every country has its magic, but Brazil impressed me most of all. It has changed so much in these last 10 years.
E.P Three words that define you as a dj.
Simple, humorist, friend
E.P Any wish for this 2011?
I want to wish a very good season to all of us.
